How it works
The crew can do it. They should not have to do it every time.
Seaquence does not replace the port’s form with a new standard. It fills in the form the port or agent already uses. Four steps, the same on every ship.
-
Enter once
Ship particulars, certificates and the core crew list are entered once and stored. Per voyage you only maintain what is new: ports, times, crew changes, quantities.
-
Choose or upload the template
The master uploads the template the port or agent sent, in whatever layout it comes. Seaquence recognises the fields by their labels, also in other languages.
-
Fill the original file
Seaquence writes directly into the port’s or agent’s file. Dropdowns, sheet protection, macros and formatting stay intact (.xlsx, .xls, .xlsm). The seven IMO FAL forms are produced as PDFs on the official layouts.
-
Check, sign, send
Every document shows its fill rate, open fields are visible. The master checks, completes and releases. Sending and submission continue as before, via agent or reporting portal.
What makes it different
The original file, not a replacement standard
Your agent gets back exactly the file they sent, now filled in. Nothing changes for the agent or the port.
Templates we have never seen
Fields are matched by their labels, not by hard-coded forms. A new template needs no programming and no preparation.
Control stays with the master
Seaquence fills in, it does not submit. What is open is visible on the document. Checking, signature and dispatch remain on the bridge.
No integration project to start
A web application in the browser. No installation on board, no interface needed to begin. An internet connection is required.
Built on the bridge
The founder is a nautical officer with years at sea on research vessels, cargo ships and cruise ships, and has filled in these forms himself. Seaquence follows the procedure on board, not the other way round.
